How it works
Every day there are 5 new questions about American-made products and the companies that make them. Tap the map where you think each one is made, then press Confirm. You'll see the real location, how far away you were, and a fun fact.
Scoring
- Each question is worth up to 1,000 points, so the best possible day is 5,000.
- Land within about 15 miles of the right spot and you get the full 1,000.
- Further away, points drop off smoothly with distance: about half at 300 miles, and roughly a quarter at 600 miles.
- Distance is measured "as the crow flies" over the curve of the Earth.
| Distance away | Points |
|---|---|
| 10 miles | 1,000 |
| 50 miles | 898 |
| 100 miles | 807 |
| 250 miles | 585 |
| 500 miles | 342 |
| 1,000 miles | 117 |
| 2,000 miles | 14 |
Leaderboard
When you finish, add a name and submit your score to the daily leaderboard. You get one score per day, and every guess is re-checked by the server. Map labels are hidden so the map doesn't give the answer away.
Once enough people have played, your score box shows how you rank against everyone else after the same number of questions, and the results screen shows where your total landed.
A new round starts every day at midnight.
